Festival International de Jazz de Montréal 2022 – 5th July 2022

Festivals are finally back in Montreal ! What a pleasure to see so many people enjoying shows on the different stages. This year I was not available for the Francofolies, that I covered in 2019, so my first festival was Festival International de Jazz de Montréal 2022. I covered two days of the festival for Thorium, the 5th and 7th of July.

On the 5th, sadly, the weather was not good, we had a lot of rain, so I did not spend as much time as I was expecting on the outside stages. I managed to still shot Urban Science Brass Band, Stacey Ryan, Mateo, Endrick & The Sandwiches (<3) and Mono Neon on those stages. I also wanted to cover the concert of Woodkid happening at MTelus, it was nice to escape the rain a bit. He was supported by Awir Leon. Both were really nice shows.
